Read to a Dog: 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Spend some time practicing reading with friendly dogs.

Summer Reading Celebration with the West Fargo Public Library and The Little Red Reading Bus: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday. Celebrate the end of summer reading at the POW/MIA Plaza in downtown West Fargo. This free event will feature food, games and entertainment from The Painted Turtle, Balloon Twister Jeffery Salveson and Leonardo, Parents' Choice Award winning family musician from Chicago.

Technology Class-Intro to Facebook: 1 p.m. Tuesday. Learn the basics of using Facebook for connecting with friends & family online. Bring your own laptop or use one of the library's laptops. Space is limited. Please register by calling: 701-551-8940.

Red River Radio Amateurs-Technician License Class (Six Sessions): 7 p.m. Wednesday. Red River Radio Amateurs (RRRA) is a nonprofit ARRL affiliated Amateur Radio club serving Fargo, Moorhead, and the surrounding area. Periodically, members of the RRRA offer a series of weekly classes in preparation for FCC Amateur Radio license tests. There is no charge for instruction; however, a textbook is required (approximately $30).
