FARGO - The Mayors’ Blue Ribbon Commission on Addiction will collect unused or expired over-the-counter and prescription medications from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, outside the main entrance of Fargo Cass Public Health, 1240 25th St. S. in Fargo.
The collection is meant to help protect the environment and prevent drug misuse. Two similar events held this year brought in 220 pounds of medication.
Syringes, lancets, thermometers, glass, home-based care or durable medical equipment supplies, and pharmacy inventory will not be accepted.
