Health Hint of the Week: Aging spots are pigmentation changes in our skin without medical significance. Some cells lose the ability to produce the pigment melanin whereas others produce too much. These changes can be thought of as an adult case of freckles. Usually the brown or tan spots are flat and have regular borders. If they are raised, or have multiple colors, check with a physician.
