Friends of the Library Book Sale: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday. The Friends of the West Fargo Public Library will host their fall book sale. Stop in to find great deals on books in all genres for kids and adults! All proceeds will benefit the West Fargo Public Library.
STEM Explorers: 3 p.m. Tuesday. Explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) through activities, experiments, and games the second Tuesday of every month (when school is in session). No registration required. Supplies and a snack will be provided. Free and open to kids in grades K-8.
Monster Crafts: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Stop by the library to make some spooky fun crafts! We will have a variety of monster themed crafts and supplies available. Program is free and open to all ages. No registration required.
Red River Radio Amateurs-General License Class (Eight sessions): 7 p.m. Wednesday. Red River Radio Amateurs (RRRA) is a nonprofit ARRL affiliated Amateur Radio club serving Fargo, Moorhead, and the surrounding area. Periodically, members of the RRRA offer a series of weekly classes in preparation for FCC Amateur Radio license tests. There is no charge for instruction; however, a textbook is required (approximately $30).

Teen Advisory Group Meeting: 7 p.m. Oct. 10. Join us for our first Teen Advisory Group (or TAG) meeting. We’ll meet once a month to talk new books, movies and music, brainstorm program ideas, eat delicious treats, and (of course) have fun! TAG is open to kids in grades 6-12.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom STEM Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Oct. 12. Bring your little ones and join us for this special STEM storytime. We will begin with a few Chicka Chicka stories and then explore the alphabet trees.
Pine Needle Sew and Chat: 1 p.m. Oct. 13. This pine needle basket event is open to all who have taken a Pine Needle Basketry class either at the West Fargo Public Library or elsewhere. Bring your works in progress or begin a new one. Instructors will be on hand to answer questions and help with supplies. Come to work or observe. No registration required.

Performance: Peter Fletcher, Classical Guitarist at Sheyenne High School Theater: 7 p.m. Oct. 29. Location: West Fargo Sheyenne High School Theater. West Fargo Public Library is teaming up with local high school teacher and guitar aficionado Mark Berntson and his students to host a free concert by musician Peter Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher is an American classical guitarist based in Detroit and New York City. He performs over 100 concerts a year, and his recordings on the Centaur Records and Towerhill Recordings labels have been critically acclaimed. Peter offers an audience-friendly, solo recital including repertoire that runs the gamut from the Baroque Period through the 20th Century. Free and open to the public.
