Teen Advisory Group Meeting: 7 p.m. Thursday. First Teen Advisory Group (or TAG) meeting. TAG will meet once a month to talk new books, movies and music, brainstorm program ideas, and have treats. TAG is open to kids in grades 6-12.

Pine Needle Sew & Chat: 1 p.m. Sunday. This pine needle basket event is open to all who have taken a Pine Needle Basketry class either at the West Fargo Public Library or elsewhere. Bring works in progress or begin a new one. Instructors will be on hand to answer questions and help with supplies. Come to work or observe. No registration required.
Lego and Game Club: 3 p.m. Tuesday. Stop in every third Tuesday of the month (when school is in session) for Legos and board games. No registration is required. Legos and games will be provided, as well as a snack. Free and open to kids in grades K-8.
Red River Radio Amateurs-General License Class (Eight sessions): 7 p.m. Wednesday. Red River Radio Amateurs (RRRA) is a nonprofit ARRL affiliated Amateur Radio club serving Fargo, Moorhead, and the surrounding area. Periodically, members of the RRRA offer a series of weekly classes in preparation for FCC Amateur Radio license tests. There is no charge for instruction; however, a textbook is required (approximately $30).

Presentation: “The History of Florence Klingensmith” by Mark Peihl: 7 p.m. Oct. 21. Mark Peihl, Archivist for the Historical & Cultural Society of Clay County, will give a presentation on Florence Klingensmith, a Clay County woman who found success and fame during a time when pilots were superstars and women were discriminated against.
Performance: Peter Fletcher, Classical Guitarist at Sheyenne High School Theater: 7 p.m. Oct. 29 at West Fargo Sheyenne High School Theater. Fletcher is an American classical guitarist who offers an audience-friendly, solo recital including repertoire that runs the gamut from the Baroque Period through the 20th Century.
