Arthur W. Jones VFW Post 7564 and Auxiliary is hosting its 16th annual event of ROSS, Remembering Our Serving Soldiers, on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to close.
It is a family friendly event and open to the public.
Day of ROSS is the VFW'S biggest event of the year and aids the local family support groups of 10 National Guard units.
The West Fargo post has raised more than $22,000 for the groups over the past 15 years.
The project was started by post member and past post commander Charlie Weible and has been recognized by the National VFW organization. The Post is accepting donations, either for the silent auction or monetary donations.
If you have a donation, you can deliver them to the Post at 444 Sheyenne Street, West Fargo.

The Day of ROSS event has activities throughout the day starting at 11 a.m. with a barbecue/chip lunch, silent auction, bingo, memorial program, meat raffle, steak fry and dance with music by Billy D. and the Crystals.
All proceeds benefit the Family Readiness Groups of the Guard units.
