Fall STEM Night: 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Kids can learn all about different areas of STEM and participate in fun fall experiments and activities. Program is free and open to kids in grade K-5.
Stop Motion Animation: 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Visit the library and learn how to make a stop animation movie. Teens will create their own stories and use Lego pieces to film their stop motion animation movie. No experience or registration is required. This program is free and open to teens grades 6-12.
One Book, One Community Author Presentation: Keith O’Brien at Fargo Air Museum: 7 p.m. Monday. Keith O’Brien, author of “Fly Girls: How Five Daring Women Defied All Odds and Made Aviation History”, will give a free presentation and book signing. All ages are invited. Books will be available for purchase.
Performance: Peter Fletcher, Classical Guitarist at West Fargo Sheyenne High School Theater: 7 p.m. Tuesday. West Fargo Public Library is teaming up with local high school teacher and guitar aficionado Mark Berntson and his students to host a free concert by musician Peter Fletcher. Fletcher is an American classical guitarist who offers an audience-friendly, solo recital including repertoire that runs the gamut from the Baroque Period through the 20th Century.
Red River Radio Amateurs-General License Class (Eight sessions): 7 p.m. Wednesday. RRRA is a nonprofit ARRL affiliated Amateur Radio club serving Fargo, Moorhead, and the surrounding area. Periodically, members of the RRRA offer a series of weekly classes in preparation for FCC Amateur Radio license tests. There is no charge for instruction; however, a roughly $30 textbook is required.
