Special Events

Teen Advisory Group Meeting: 7 p.m. Thursday. The group will meet once a month to talk new books, movies and music, brainstorm program ideas, and have treats. TAG is open to kids in grades 6-12.

Lego and Game Club: 3 p.m. Thursday. Stop in every third Tuesday of the month when school is in session for Legos and board games. No registration is required. Legos and games will be provided, as well as a snack. Free and open to kids in grades K-8.

Movie of the Month: 1 p.m. Nov. 21. November is Native American Month, a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories, and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people. This month's offering is part of the recent PBS Native America series. This episode "reveals Native American cultural continuity in the face of genocidal warfare and history’s worst demographic devastation" and shows how "Native Americans tap 10,000 years of beliefs to fight and survive the forces of Conquest. Woven Yarn Bracelets: 7 p.m. Nov. 25. Join us at the library and learn to make woven string bracelets. This program is free and open to teens in grades 6-12. No registration is required.

Thanksgiving Turkey Crafts: 2 p.m. Nov. 27. School is out for the holiday, so stop by the library and make a special turkey to take along and show your family. We will have a variety of turkey crafts for all ages. Program is free and no registration is required.


The library is closed on Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day.
