Snowman STEM: 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Kids can learn all about different areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) with fun snowman experiments and activities. Program is free and open to kids in grade K-5.
Pine Needle Sew & Chat: 1 p.m. Sunday. This pine needle basket event is open to all who have taken a Pine Needle Basketry class either at the West Fargo Public Library or elsewhere. Bring your works in progress or begin a new one. Instructors will be on hand to answer questions and help with supplies. Come to work or observe. No registration required.
Coding for Kids: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Kids in kindergarten and up are welcome to participate in this one-hour introduction to computer science with hundreds of online coding activities to choose from. Additionally, kids can try coding using Sphero and Ozobot robots and no-tech games. No experience is required. Laptops will be provided, but kids are also invited to bring their own laptops or tablets.
