Although "cruising" was not allowed at West Fargo's first Cruise Night of 2020, Thursday, Aug. 20, hundreds of fans rolled down a closed off Sheyenne Street to enjoy about 200 unique cars, trucks and bikes.

Cruise Night usually begins on the third Thursday of June, but the first and July Cruise Nights were cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The city decided to give the August Cruise Night a green light last month, but set in place a number of restrictions including limiting the number of cars to 200, which would remain parked through the night.

Masks were encouraged but not required for the thousands of spectators that lined Sheyenne Street, which was closed to vehicle traffic from Main Avenue to Seventh Avenue during the event.
