Sealed Bids for the construction of the Rendezvous Baseball Field Shelter Building Move Package will be received, by the West Fargo Park District, at the Rustad Recreation Center, 601 26th Avenue East, West Fargo, North Dakota 58078, until 10:00 am local time on January 03, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of relocating an existing building to a newly installed foundation, abandoning of sanitary sewer and water services, removal of multi-use path, building restoration work, abandonment/removal of existing building foundation items, site grading & seeding, and other miscellaneous items.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

The work for said improvements is required to be completed by May 1, 2019.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Moore Engineering, Inc., 925 10th Avenue East, West Fargo, ND, 701.551.1047, Matthew Prochniak, Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a bidder's bond in a sum equal to 5% of the full amount of the bid executed by the bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal's bid is accepted and a contract is awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten (10) days after the notice of the award, shall execute a contract in accordance with the terms of the bid and the bid bond, and any conditions of the West Fargo Park District, as required by law. A countersignature of a bid bond is not required. If the West Fargo Park District elects to award a contract to the lowest responsible bidder, and the lowest responsible bidder does not execute a contract within ten (10) days, the bidders bond will be forfeited to the West Fargo Park District, and the West Fargo Park District may award the project to the next lowest responsible bidder.

Each bidder must possess a valid North Dakota contractors license for the full amount of their bid, as required by N.D.C.C. 43-07-7. Each bidder MUST enclose a copy of their Contractors License or Certificate of Renewal, issued by the North Dakota Secretary of State, in their bid bond envelope, and each license must be valid and dated at least 10 days prior to the date set for bid opening, as required under N.D.C.C. 43-07-12.

The West Fargo Park District will not read or consider any bid that does not fully comply with the requirements above, or the requirements of N.D.C.C. 48-01.2-05. The West Fargo Park District will reseal any deficient bid submitted and return it to the bidder immediately.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:30 pm local time on December 19, 2018 at the existing building to be moved, the Rendezvous Park Activity Shelter 1055 32nd Ave. W. West Fargo, ND 58078. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged.
