A West Fargo man was sentenced in Cass County District Court on Monday, Aug. 5, to 18 months for his conviction on two counts of possessing child pornography.

He was given credit for 42 days.

Seeley pleaded guilty in April to two counts of possessing child pornography and nine additional charges were dismissed.

The case stemmed from a Bureau of Criminal Investigation probe that was launched following a tip from a probation officer.

The probation officer provided the BCI with a video of suspected child pornography obtained from a phone during a previous narcotics investigation.
