Police have arrested one motorcyclist and are searching for another after a high speed chase south of Hillsboro, N.D.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, on Wednesday, Aug. 28 state troopers attempted to stop two sport bike-style motorcycles for traffic violations as they headed north on I-29. Instead of stopping, the drivers fled, exceeding speeds of 130 mph. According to police, one of the motorcyclists tried to exit the interstate going 100 mph but lost control, entering the east ditch. That driver was arrested and identified as Ethan Suhr, 22, of West Fargo. He was not injured and was taken to the Traill County Jail. Suhr is charged with fleeing, driving under suspension and operating a vehicle without liability insurance.
Police are still searching for the other driver. If you have any information on that driver, who police say was driving a white motorcycle, call the North Dakota State Patrol at 701-328-1081.
