WFPL @ Bookfest: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The West Fargo Park District will celebrate Bookfest at North Elmwood Park, 500 13th Ave. W, West Fargo. Throughout the evening, participants will be able to listen and read books, create crafts, and meet a local author.

Read to a Dog: 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Spend some time practicing reading with friendly dogs.

STEM Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

New Release Movie: 2 p.m. Saturday. Newly released movie with free admission and popcorn. View the movie title on our event calendar at westfargolibrary.org. Rated PG.

SRP-STEM Camp: 10:15 a.m. & 1:15 p.m. June 17-20. The library will be partnering with the Inspire Innovation Lab so kids can learn all about different areas of STEM and participate in fun space related experiments and activities. Kids are welcome to register for all days or separate days individually. Registration for this event is required. Kids in grades K-5 are welcome to sign up for either the morning session or the afternoon session.

SRP Afternoon Craft: 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Beginning Mahjong Class series: 6:30 p.m. Monday. Learn to play mahjong during this three-session class. Free. Register in advance.

Telling Your Story through Scrapbooking: 5 p.m. Tuesday. Learn to create traditional keepsake memory books. Register in advance. Participants are invited to bring 8 photos to create their own keepsake. For all skill levels, grade seven through adult. Class size limited to 12.

A Universe of Stories-Sensory Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. This storytime is geared for babies up to 20 months.

Genealogy Help: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Staff Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help you explore your family's history in the library’s historical center. Bring projects or just ask questions.

Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers and is just stories – no crafts. Registration is not required.

Mahjong Gamers: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Join this experienced group of mahjong gamers. Please note that this is not a gathering for beginners.

Storytime with a Craft: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Story times are geared for preschool through first grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead at (701) 433-5460. Registration is not required.

Twisted Stitchers: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Join this fun group for an evening of knitting or crochet. Come with your own supplies. Not for beginners, but tips will be given to knitters and crocheters needing help. No pre-registration required.

The Next Chapter Book Club - Daytime: 1 p.m. Wednesday. Choose a wrapped book courtesy of the WFPL. Unwrap, read, and tell others in the book club about it.

Mahjong Gamers: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Join this experienced group of mahjong gamers. Please note that this is not a gathering for beginners.

Technology Tutoring: 4-5 p.m. Wednesday. Drop in for a 1-on-1 tutoring session to help you learn to use your phone, laptop, or tablet. No registration needed.

WFPL @ The Little Read Reading Bus: All Day. June 24-27. The library will provide a storytime and craft for a week in June and July at all bus locations. Times vary depending on day and park you are visiting.

SRP-Cosmic Bath Bombs: 6:30 p.m. June 24. Put a celestial spin on this craft by designing bath bombs that resemble planets in our solar system. Program is free and open to kids grades 4 and up.
