Special Events

Read to a Dog: 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Spend some time practicing reading with friendly dogs. Registration is required. Please register at the service desk or by calling (701)433-5460.

Regular Events

Friday Morning Movie — "Mulan": 10:30 a.m. Friday. During an ambush, Mulan proves herself to be a brave and fearless leader. Free movie and popcorn.Rated G.

Genealogy: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Bring projects or just ask questions.

Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers and is just stories — no crafts. For stories and simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Registration is not required.

Storytime with a Craft: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Story times are geared for preschool through first grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead at (701) 433-5460. Registration is not required.

Twisted Stitchers: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. An evening of knitting or crochet. Come with your own supplies. Not for beginners, but tips will be given to knitters and crocheters needing help. No pre-registration required.

Technology Tutoring: 4-5 p.m. Wednesday. Drop in for a one-on-one tutoring session to get help with your technology questions and build your skills. Bring a device or use one of the library's iPads or computers. All ages are welcome and no registration is needed.

Upcoming Events

Summer Reading Program Kickoff Party: 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 4. In addition to registration, there will be a variety of activities running throughout the evening including : Traveling Lantern Theater Company, model trains, guest storytime reader, and more.


The afterschool program will be open Monday through Friday (when school is in session) from 3-5:30 p.m.

The library will be closed on Monday, May 28, for the Memorial Day holiday.
