Coding for Kids: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. A variety of coding activities including: Hour of Code activities, Sphero and Ozobot Robots, and a low-tech coding game. Event is open to kids in grades 3-8.

Genealogy Help: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Staff Genealogist Jackie Marler will be available to help explore your family history. Bring projects or just ask questions. Visit the Historical Center located on the library's main floor.
The Next Chapter Book Club - Evening: 7 p.m. Monday. Lively group discussion of "Castle" by Jessica Shattuck. Copies of the book and discussion questions are available in advance at the service desk.
Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers and is just stories - no crafts. For stories and simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Registration is not required.
Storytime with a Craft: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Story times are geared for preschool through first grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead at (701) 433-5460. Registration is not required.

Hands on Engineering - Building with Newspaper: 6:30 p.m. March 14. Head to the library for some hands-on engineering. Kids will be challenging themselves to create and build items using just newspaper and tape. Program is free and open to kids grades 2 and up.
Luck of the Irish: 2 p.m. March 15. School is out, so come celebrate St. Patrick's Day with us! Make your own pot of gold, a shamrock hat, and enjoy a green snack and drink. Event is free and open to all ages.

Pine Needle Basketry Exhibit: Jan. 21 - May. View exquisite hand-stitched baskets created by North Dakota Pine Needle Artist Eileen McEnroe and her students.
Encore Art Exhibit featuring Jon Solinger's "Working Land Exhibit": Jan. 15 - April 16. "Working Land" refers to two facets of rural landscape: the idea of working the land as a vocation and as a description of productive ground. The photography focuses on six family farms in Otter Tail County, Minnesota and the people rooted to these places.
