Hands on Engineering - Building with Newspaper: 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Hands-on engineering. Kids will be challenging themselves to create and build items using just newspaper and tape. Program is free and open to kids grades 2 and up.

Simply Stories: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. This session is geared for lap babies and preschoolers and is just stories - no crafts. For stories and simple make-and-take crafts, visit the library at 1:30 p.m. Tuesdays. Registration is not required.
Storytime with a Craft: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Story times are geared for preschool through first grade age children and their caretakers. Daycares are welcome, but for groups larger than five, please call ahead at (701) 433-5460. Registration is not required.

For the Love of Gardens: Capturing Floral Beauty: 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Enjoy this delightful presentation on photographing flowers presented by Kari Barchenger, owner and photographer of Memories Forever Photography in Fargo. Her inspiring photos will get us ready for the 2019 gardening season. Free and open to the public.

Encore Art Exhibit featuring Jon Solinger's "Working Land Exhibit": Jan. 15 - April 16. "Working Land" refers to two facets of rural landscape: the idea of working the land as a vocation and as a description of productive ground. The photography focuses on six family farms in Otter Tail County, Minnesota and the people rooted to these places.
