Jon Solinger Meet the Artist Event: 1:30 p.m. Sunday. WFPL will host photographer Jon Solinger for a meet the artist event to showcase "Working Land". "Working Land" refers to two facets of rural landscape: the idea of working the land as a vocation and as a description of productive ground. The photography focuses on six family farms in Otter Tail County, Minnesota and the people rooted to these places. The exhibit includes pictures of each farm and a diagram or visual representation of the people living and working on the farm and how they are intertwined. Join us to learn more about his process, ask questions, and try creating your own family diagrams or maps.

Hands on Engineering - Building with Newspaper: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Head to the library for some hands-on engineering. Kids will be challenging themselves to create and build items using just newspaper and tape. Program is free and open to kids grades 2 and up.
