The City of West Fargo wants to learn more about residents and area businesses preferred roadway and pedestrian alternatives being purposed along the Ninth Street East corridor from 13th Avenue to 12th Avenue Northeast.
An open house will be held 4-6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 20, at West Fargo City Hall in the Grand Foyer. It will showcase different options for access management, intersection control and design options, pedestrian connectivity, and freight and transit needs along Ninth Street East.
Attendees that complete the corridor survey at the meeting can be entered to win one of four $25 gift cards from area businesses. The City of West Fargo and Metro COG initiated this transportation study to help guide potential short- term and long-term planning for this important north – south corridor.
This public input will be used to help guide the final recommendations submitted to City staff for future implementation. The last study was conducted in 2012. For more information, visit FMMetrocog.org.
