As many West Fargoans shelter in place to help prevent spread of the COVID-19 virus, the West Fargo Pioneer is working to bring the most current updates about the worldwide pandemic to every West Fargo home.
While the print version of the Pioneer will continue to be delivered each Wednesday, up-to-the-minute local updates are provided free at www.westfargopioneer.
All COVID-19 related information is available on our site to readers, regardless of subscription status. The Pioneer site provides easy access to all West Fargo-related information as well as the latest updates across the region and state.
We are working hard to prevent the spread of COVID-19 while we continue to connect and inform our communities.
For production employees as well as our newspaper delivery team, whose jobs require them to be at our printing and distribution facilities, we are implementing several ongoing safety measures, including disinfecting production equipment and using gloves and hand sanitizer to prevent any potential spread of infection.
We recognize that customers may have questions about the safety of mail/packages, and that would certainly apply to print newspapers. According to guidance from the World Health Organization, the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, traveled and exposed to different conditions and temperatures is also low. This would apply to newspapers as well.
That said, we recognize that we are living in extraordinary times and understand you may prefer to read our e-edition, which print subscribers may access at no additional charge by activating an online account. You can also access our complete coverage on our website, which continues to be updated throughout the day.
Subscribing to the West Fargo Pioneer includes full access to all Forum Communications Co. properties including Inforum. Please feel free to subscribe using the link www.westfargopioneer.com/subscribe.
For any customer service requests, please feel free to call or email our customer service team. Our customers are at the forefront of our minds as we navigate these uncharted waters together, and we are committed to our mission to keep you connected and informed with print and digital coverage that is credible and comprehensive.
Thank you for your support of journalism.
