WEST FARGO — One man is dead and a woman is in the hospital after their vehicles collided in West Fargo on Wednesday, July 10.
The crash was reported at 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of 32nd Avenue West and 35th Street West, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
They say a U-Haul box truck was heading west on 32nd Avenue when it was hit on the driver's side by a Jeep Cherokee heading north on 35th Street.
The crash happened in the middle of the intersection and caused both vehicles to enter the northwest ditch. The U-Haul truck stopped and turned over onto its passenger side and the Jeep was upright, the patrol said.
The 34-year-old male driver of the U-Haul was pronounced dead on scene and the 29-year-old female driver of the Jeep was taken to Sanford with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The Highway Patrol said charges against her are pending, both drivers were wearing seat belts.
Names have not yet been released.
