1-year-old girl hurt in rollover crash near Hawley

HAWLEY, Minn. – A 1-year-old Hibbing girl was injured in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 10 near Hawley, Sunday, March 4, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

A Jeep Cherokee driven by Staci Ellithorpe, 28, of Hibbing, was heading eastbound on Highway 10 east of 280th Street South about 8:37 p.m. The SUV then slid off the road into the median and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels, the patrol reported late Sunday night.

Adline Ellithorpe suffered injuries that were not life-threatening and was taken to Sanford Medical Center for treatment, the patrol said.

The driver and a second passenger, Jeffrey Ellithorpe, 29, of Hibbing, did not appear to be injured, the patrol said.
