WEST FARGO — A 31-year-old Bismarck man is in custody after police say he fled from a traffic stop in West Fargo Tuesday night, June 4, according to a news release from the West Fargo Police Department.
At around 10 p.m. police responded to a call about a suspicious person near the 600 block of 42nd Avenue West. When officers arrived, they attempted to pull over a vehicle matching the description from the initial report, but the driver fled.
After a short pursuit the vehicle became disabled near Aurora Elementary School, where the driver left the car and fled on foot until he fell into a construction area, police said.
Police identified the driver as Daniel William Brennan, who was charged with fleeing in a motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, possession of a stolen vehicle and driving under suspension. He also faces multiple narcotics charges.
