FARGO — Prosecutors have charged a 45-year-old Fargo man in connection with a single-vehicle rollover crash.
Robert Lee Morton faces a felony count of reckless endangerment stemming from the May 30 crash, according to Cass County District Court documents.
At 4:12 p.m. May 30, Fargo police officers were sent to University Drive South and First Avenue South and found a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole and caused a power outage for nearby residents.
The driver, identified as Morton, and his 9-year-old daughter were pulled from the vehicle by emergency workers before police arrived, authorities said. Both were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Morton was unable to tell law enforcement officials how the crash occurred, court papers show. Authorities investigated whether alcohol played a role in the crash, but Morton was not charged with DUI.
