Sheriff’s office: High-risk sex offender living in Hunter, N.D.
HUNTER, N.D. – The Cass County Sheriff's Office is notifying the public that a high-risk sex offender now lives at 133 3rd St. W. in Hunter.
Brandon Murch, 32, was convicted in February 2017 of human trafficking in Cass County District Court. He responded to an online ad, and in messages with an undercover officer, he agreed to engage in sex acts with two girls ages 15 and 16, according to the website of the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office.
He was also convicted in 2013 of luring minors by computer in Steele County District Court. He had sexual conversations on Facebook with a 15-year-old girl who was actually an undercover officer, according to the website.
Authorities have determined that Murch is a high risk of re-offending. He is a lifetime registrant.
