FARGO, N.D.- A 26-year-old Fargo woman and a 34-year-old Fargo man are accused of burglarizing multiple vehicles.
Shelby Rose Azure and Rigoberto Diaz are being charged with nine counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle, one count of unauthorized use of personal identifying information, one count of attempted unauthorized use of personal identifying information, two counts of burglary, and two counts of possession of stolen property. Both Azure and Diaz have been arrested.
Police say they responded to a report of a vehicle burglary on May 13 when a witness stated they saw a male enter the victim's vehicle and take the stolen item, then leave in a vehicle driven by a female.
Officers say they located the motor vehicle as the report was being taken and detained the occupants of the automobile, identifying them as Azure and Diaz.
A probable cause search of the motor vehicle and a search warrant of Azure and Diaz's apartment revealed the stolen item reported and yielded additional items tied to 10 other cases that occurred from May 7, according to police.
Police say additional cases have been linked to Azure and Diaz by the case detective and will be sent over to the State's Attorney's Office in the upcoming days.
