"It (Casey's General Store) has been robbed multiple times before it stopped being a 24-hour Casey's, but it usually happened in the middle of the night," said Miller, who said she thought a 7 a.m. robbery like this was "unusual".

Members of the West Fargo Police Department responded to the scene in less than one minute and began to search the area. Officers with the Cass County Sheriff’s Department and the North Dakota Highway Patrol assisted with the search.
