JAMESTOWN, N.D. — A knife-wielding man accused of attacking a person at the Jamestown Walmart has pleaded not guilty to felony charges of terrorizing and reckless endangerment.
Roylan Laureta, 54, was arrested after he allegedly pulled a knife and attacked a 29-year-old victim as they were leaving the Jamestown Walmart on Aug. 12, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
The victim was treated at the scene for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Laureta pleaded not guilty at a court hearing on Wednesday, Sept. 11. He has a felony dispositional conference set for Dec. 4, and a jury trial slated to start Dec. 17.
