FARGO — A man with a history of convictions for sex crimes involving minors has registered at a north Fargo address, the Fargo Police Department announced Friday, Oct. 4.
Michael John Gordon, 35, is living at 734 College St. N. in Fargo. He was convicted of sexual assault and corruption of a minor in a case involving a 16-year-old female acquaintance in 2007 in Morton County, N.D., according to the sex offender registry. In 2004 he was also convicted of corruption of a minor involving a 16-year-old female acquaintance in Cass County.
In 2003 Gordon was convicted in Cass County for luring a minor by computer after communicating with a police officer posing as a 14-year-old girl.
Gordon must register for life and has been classified as a high-risk offender by the North Dakota Risk Assessment Committee. He is described as 5 feet 7 inches, 245 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
