FARGO — A 27-year-old man has been charged in federal court in connection with an October report of a gunshot fired outside an apartment in north Fargo.
Lionel Fraction Jr. appeared Monday, Nov. 25, in Fargo's U.S. District Court on several charges, including possession of a firearm by a convict. He was arrested Oct. 13 after police were sent to 3013 10th St. N., where witnesses heard a verbal argument and what sounded like a gunshot.
Officers found a handgun in Fraction's possession, according to court documents.
The apartment is just northwest of McKinley Elementary School, but the incident unfolded on a Sunday when class was not in session.
