WEST FARGO — Mental health is the focus of an upcoming Student Success Forum as West Fargo Public Schools tackles the topic of depression and anxiety.
The event is set to take place Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Dakota Medical Foundation, 4141 28th Ave. S. in Fargo, and will feature keynote speaker Jeff Yalden, a mental health speaker who has delivered his message about his struggle with anxiety and depression to more than 4 million people around the world.
Lynne Olien, mother of West Fargo student Justin Olien, who died by suicide in 2016, will also speak at the event. Olien started the fundraiser "Justin's Break the Silence" to raise awareness for those struggling with any form of depression.
West Fargo Public Schools and Justin's Break the Silence are asking members of the public to register online on the event's Facebook page.
