FARGO — There will be no classes or events at Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead public schools Wednesday, Feb. 12, as blizzard conditions are hitting early Wednesday morning.
North Dakota State University, Minnesota State University Moorhead and Concordia College also announced that classes are canceled Wednesday, though essential employees are still asked to report to work.
Students and staff should stay home, according to the Fargo Public Schools website. The district will use a storm makeup day that is already built into the school calendar.
West Fargo Public Schools also said no students or staff should report to school. Wednesday's snow day will not be made up, as the district has already used both makeup days built into its calendar.
Moorhead Area Public Schools announced on its website that all public and non-public schools in the city will be closed Wednesday. All community education and before and after-school activities are also canceled. The district said all year-round employees should still report to work.
