WEST FARGO – The West Fargo Fire Department responded to a structure fire at Busch Agricultural Resources just after 4 a.m. Saturday morning, July 13. Smoke could be seen billowing from one of the buildings.
The Fargo Fire Department was also called in for backup to help assist crews put out the fire.
By evening, firefighters were still working to extinguish the fire completely.
West Fargo Fire Battalion Chief Tom Clark said crews monitored the building for hotspots and attempted to keep ahead of flare-ups throughout the day, but empty spaces throughout the elevator caused some issues.
One firefighter was taken to Sanford for heat-related injuries but was reported to be doing OK.
No one was inside at the time of the blaze. The fire remains under investigation.
