WEST FARGO — A 40-year-old man was taken to the hospital after an early-morning apartment fire on Thursday, Feb. 28, according to the West Fargo Fire Department.

Police were the first to respond to a report of an apartment fire at 1031 1st St. at about 5:30 a.m. Bystanders told officers they heard someone yelling from inside the apartment.
