BISMARCK - North Dakota Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp's campaign said Thursday, Oct. 4, she raised more than $3.8 million in the third quarter.
The haul brings her total this election cycle to more than $14.6 million. She ended the quarter with almost $3.2 million in cash-on-hand, the campaign said.
The campaign's disclosure came ahead of the Federal Election Commission's Oct. 15 filing deadline.
The Heitkamp campaign characterized her quarterly total as the "single largest fundraising haul in North Dakota history." She has consistently outraised Republican Rep. Kevin Cramer, whose campaign said it would release fundraising figures next week.
