WEST FARGO - The southbound lane of Sheyenne Street from 24th Avenue to 26th Avenue West will be closed for one day on Tuesday, Aug. 21.
The closure is needed for crews to widen the road at 26th Avenue West for more room to detour traffic, city officials said in a news release.
Southbound traffic will need to turn west at 24th Avenue , turn south at Fifth Street West and then connect with 26th Avenue to head west to the Ninth Street West detour. Only the southbound lane in this area will be closed.
Because of construction, Sheyenne Street is currently closed to all traffic from 32nd Avenue to 26th Avenue. The closure is expected to last an additional seven weeks.
