Josh Duhamel tabbed as new pitchman for Taco Bell’s latest, groundbreaking menu item
Over the course of history, many of the world’s most infamous tales have remained a mystery. Were the pyramids of Egypt built by aliens? Does Bigfoot really exist? And most importantly, why were there never fries on Taco Bell’s menu?
That last tale is no longer a mystery after Mexican fast-food giant Taco Bell rolled out its latest menu item nationwide on Thursday, Jan. 25: nacho fries.
Pitching their latest fast-food endeavor is North Dakota-native Josh Duhamel, who recently re-signed to be the face of North Dakota tourism.
The 90-second Taco Bell spot titled, “Web of Fries,” features Duhamel as an investigator tasked with solving the mystery about why Taco Bell took so long to add fries to its menu, suggesting that the fast-food chain wanted to all along, but for whatever reason, couldn’t.
A 60-second version of the commercial aired originally on Sunday, Jan. 21, during the NFC Championship game between the Vikings and Eagles.
