West Fargo Sanford clinic to offer Saturday hours
WEST FARGO — While construction on an expansion of the Sanford Clinic here continues, the current clinic on Sheyenne Street will begin offering Saturday hours Jan. 26.
Starting Saturday, the Sanford West Fargo Clinic will be open for primary care and walk-in patients from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In spring 2018, Sanford began a $10 million construction project to expand the building on the corner of Sheyenne Street and 13th Avenue West to 26,000 square feet. The remodeled clinic will continue to offer primary care, women’s and children’s services.
“West Fargo is the fastest growing city in North Dakota, and we’re committed to growing right along with it,” said Nate White, president of Sanford Fargo in a statement. “Expanded and new clinic space allows us to meet the needs of our patients now, while ensuring we’re ready for future growth. Offering convenience, access, space and specialties close to where those in our community live and work is a priority for us.”
Construction on the remodeled clinic is expected to wrap up by fall. Once done, it will be home to 18 doctors and about 40 staff. A pharmacy will remain on site.
The original building was built in 1967 and is 16,466 square feet; Sanford purchased the building in 1995.
A second Sanford clinic that will serve West Fargo residents is also under construction in the Veterans Square mall on the corner of 40th Avenue South and Veterans Boulevard in Fargo. The Sanford Veterans Square Clinic is expected to open late spring 2019, with nearly 6,000 square feet dedicated to children’s and primary care services.
