Rodney Jerome Erdmann was born February 12, 1954, in Valdosta, Georgia, the son of Marvin and Marilyn (Eggert) Erdmann. The family moved to Horace, ND, and Rod graduated from West Fargo High School in 1972. He began his lifelong career working for Interstate Seed (Monsanto Seed/Bayer Corp) in 1973.
On September 20, 1974, Rod and Carol Stevenson were united in marriage at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Fargo.
