You are invited to vote for me at the Cass County Electric Cooperative annual meeting on Tuesday, April 18, at the Ramada Plaza Suites between 5 and 6:30 pm. A free dinner is provided for you when you, your family and friends attend this important community event.
Cass County Electric Cooperative has exceptional employees and Board members with vision. Through my experience serving on North Dakota State Senate committees, various city committees as a city alderman, many local, state and national committees as a member of the SRT Communications, Inc. cooperative over the last 20 years, I have gained insight and a deep understanding of the many challenges and opportunities that cooperatives grapple with on an ongoing basis.
My wife, Anita, would say that I am a creative person with vision and leadership especially in the fields of technology and business my expertise areas. My daughter Jenny Huschka and son Dan Seymour have a great interest in technology too.
If elected to the board, I promise to listen to our member owners on a regular basis and use my Twitter account (@WestFargoTomSeymour) and Web site (www.minot.com/tom) to keep the members current. In addition, I believe that advocacy is crucial to the success of our cooperative and change is the key to survival in today's world. As a native of Cavalier, N.D., and with college degrees from multiple institutions, I feel that I understand the culture and needs of our cooperative members.
Yes, I will be a great new addition to the CCEC Board of Directors.
