West Fargo struggled to get its bats going and as a result, dropped a pair of American Legion Baseball games last week.

The Patriots could muster just two hits, as Tri City used a three-run fifth inning to pull away for a 4-1 win on June 18.

Alex Urlaub drove in Post 308's lone run in the sixth inning.

Things started badly and stayed that way the next night, as Minot jumped out to a 7-0 lead en route to an 11-1, run-rule victory.

West Fargo had just three hits. The Patriots also struggled in the field, committing three errors.

With the losses, West Fargo falls to 9-4 on the season.

Scheduled games on Wednesday and Thursday were both rained out. The Patriots and Vistas will meet again in a doubleheader on Wednesday.

The first game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
