Key returners: Maleeck Harden, Sr., G/F; Drew Hagen, Jr., G; Logan Garcia, Sr., F/C.

Coach's comments: "As a program we're really excited to get started this year after a great summer together as a group. We will miss our seniors from last year, as they helped us build positive momentum, but the guys we have in our program are talented and eager to step into key roles this season. With that, however, comes a steep learning curve, so I expect our team to continue to improve as the year moves along and to be playing our best basketball in late February and early March."

The key to our success this year will be focusing on the fundamentals of the game and winning the intangibles each time we step on the floor. We are going to play fast, aggressive and hope we are physical enough to keep up with the top teams. We have many good basketball players in the program at every level and are looking forward to an exciting year."

Fargo Oak Grove

Coach: Kyle Card (11th season)

Coach's comments: "We lost a lot of talent from last year’s team, including four starters and our starting backcourt with two all-region players. We will be inexperienced to start the year, but are hoping by the end of the year we will be ready to make a run in Region 1. We have a good mix of seniors, juniors and sophomores that can play, but not many of them have much varsity experience. Once we get a few games under our belt, hopefully we can be ready come tournament time."

Fargo Shanley

Coach: Andrew Burns (third season)

Last season: 18-9, fifth in the state

Coach's comments: "We are coming off a good season a year ago with a five-place finish at state, but we also lost a lot of guys with plenty of varsity experience. So the biggest motivation for us is to go out and prove ourselves throughout the year with a number of players who will be new to the varsity level or in more prominent roles than last season. They are definitely excited to get their chance to showcase what they can do and continue to improve upon on last year. We know the EDC will be tough again as always and hope to compete night in and night out against all of these quality opponents."
