WEST FARGO — The West Fargo Patriots topped the Williston Keybirds 5-0 and 8-6 Tuesday in an American Legion baseball doubleheader at Young Field.

All five of the Patriots first-game runs came in the fifth inning. Brayden Jacobson led the way with two RBIs. Lance Oster and Caden Borchardt each drove in a run.

In the second game, West Fargo fell behind early after allowing four first-inning runs, but bounced back by scoring two runs in the second, four in the third and two more in the fifth. Quade Peters totaled three hits and three RBIs to lead the way. Drew Clouse drove home two runs.

The Patriots rose to 5-1 this season.
