FARGO — Fargo North dominated late in its 5-1 win over West Fargo Sheyenne in East Region boys hockey Thursday night at the John E. Carlson Coliseum.
Caleb Fritel got the Spartans on the board early in the second period, with the remaining five goals scored in the final period. Fritel added his second goal and Dylan Tostenson also found the back of the net. Senior forward Harrison Astrup joined Fritel in netting two goals.
Andrew Roth tallied the lone goal for the Mustangs, with Drew Clouse and James Vance assisting on the play. Sheyenne was outshot 38-28.
North improved to 6-4 overall and 3-4 in the East Region, while the Mustangs fell to 1-10 overall and 0-7 in the East Region.
