FARGO — Fargo Davies notched a shutout victory over North in Eastern Dakota Conference girls soccer Tuesday night.

All of Davies’ goals came in a nine-minute span in the second half. Makayla Selensky struck first in the 63rd minute. Alyssa Paper found the back of the net in the 69th minute and Ali Matter capped the scoring in the 72nd minute. Eagles goalie Breanna Nelson tallied eight saves.

Spartans goalie Jocelyn Sveet made six saves.

Davies rose to 6-1-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the EDC. North fell to 3-4-1 overall and 3-4 in the EDC.

Fargo Shanley 3, Fargo South 0

FARGO — Fargo Shanley shut out Fargo South for the Deacons’ eighth consecutive win.

Hadley Huber scored on an assist from Ella Frisk, followed by a goal by Emily Post on an assist from Hannah Hansen. In the second half, Abby Promersberger added an unassisted goal.

South goalie Lexi Johnson tallied 10 saves.

Shanley improved to 8-0 overall and 7-0 in the EDC, while South fell to 1-6 both overall and in the EDC.

West Fargo 3, Grand Forks Red River 0

GRAND FORKS — Three different Packers found the back of the net as West Fargo notched a shutout win over Grand Forks Red River.

Mia Poitra struck first on an assist from Eva Fitz. Jacie Osier buried the second goal on a dish from Tonje Vollen and Emily Larsen capped the scoring with an unassisted goal.

The Packers improved to 4-3 overall and 3-3 in the EDC. Red River dropped to 2-5 both overall and in conference play.

West Fargo Sheyenne 5, Grand Forks Central 0

WEST FARGO — Sheyenne cruised past Grand Forks Central for a shutout victory.

The Mustangs improved to 5-1-1 both overall and in the EDC. The Knights dropped to 0-6 both overall and in conference play.
