Packers top Mustangs in boys swimming

Noah Jamison and Timothy Hulbert each won four events to lead West Fargo to a comfortable 115-70 win over West Fargo Sheyenne in Eastern Dakota Conference boys swimming and diving Friday night.

Jamison won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:11.30 and the 100 backstroke in 1:03.42, while Hulbert was victorious with times of 1:56.56 in the 200 freestyle and 59.51 in the 100 butterfly.

The pair also earned wins as part of the 200 and 400 free relays. They teamed with Thomas Doyel and Tyler Binstock to win the 200 in 1:37.56, and won the 400 free in 3:42.30 with Binstock and Kasey Chase.

Doyel and Chase helped the Packers start the night off on the right foot, winning the evening's first race, the 200 medley relay, in 1:50.15 with Max Wohl and Mason Emerson.

Wohl also earned two individual wins, taking first in the 50 (25.02) and 100 free (55.54). Riley Hjelden earned West Fargo's final individual win of the night, swimming a 1:07.61 in the 100 breaststroke.

Sheyenne came away with wins in diving and the 500 free. Noah Nordstrom finished diving with a score of 151.10, while Nick Benson swam a 5:44.39 in the 500.
