FARGO — A car went off the road and crashed into a pile of construction equipment early Wednesday, Jan. 9. The report came in about 6:30 a.m., and the crash happened at 39th Street South and 36th Avenue South in Fargo. The car appeared to have traveled about 50 yards off the road and ended up in a pile of dirt and construction cones. It's unclear whether anyone was hurt in the crash. A phone message left for a police representative was not immediately returned. This is a developing story. We will update the story when we learn more.
After a weekend full of shopping and spending money, Nov. 27 is all about giving. It's called Giving Tuesday, where people across the nation come together and donate to charities and organizations. Family Wellness is taking part for the second year in a row, raising money through a bake sale and by selling $5 Fitness Challenge Cards where people are challenged to complete a set amount of workouts. The proceeds will go toward the Inspire Wellness Program.
Hundreds of people headed over to the Avalon today to collaborate and discuss the world of technology. It was the nVision 2018 event. It draws in hundreds of people each year with nearly two dozen companies coming from across the country to introduce their up and coming technology. Network Center Inc.'s Marketing Manager, Jenn Rothschiller, said the community comes to the conference to check out some of the new products hitting the market.
