Nicole Bruse, Horace, has received the North Dakota Dollars for Scholars State Scholarship. She is a student at The Salon Professional Academy, Fargo, and is the daughter of Connie and Kevin Bruse of Horace .
Named to National Panel
Dawn Hummel, RN, Senior Executive - Resident Care at Bethany on 42nd, was selected as a member for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) Panel of Judges Standard Setting Meeting by the NCLEX Examination Committee of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN).
The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide an organization through which boards of nursing act and counsel together on matters of common interest and concern affecting the public health, safety and welfare, including the development of licensing examinations in nursing.
Bethany Retirement Living was founded in Fargo in 1939 and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Bethany operates two campuses in Fargo and provides high-quality care to the elderly in skilled nursing, memory care, rehabilitation, transitional care, assisted living, basic care, senior apartments, adult day services and personal care programs.
Pilch earns MSUM
Andre Pilch, West Fargo has received a $375 Upper Class Scholarship from Minnesota State University Moorhead. The scholarship was donated to MSUM by John Holland Memorial. Pilch is the child of Jon and Esther Pilch.
The Upper Class Academic Scholarship is available to students pursuing their first Bachelor's degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 and completion of at least 12 MSUM credits. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement, leadership and contributions to campus and community organizations.
Supa receives Talent scholarship
Jesse Supa received a $1000 Talent Scholarship from Minnesota State University Moorhead. Supa is the son of Mike and Kim Suppa, West Fargo.
The Talent Scholarship is given to students who demonstrate exceptional talent in areas of visual or performing arts -- art and design, music, communication studies, film studies, theatre arts. Department faculty determines recipients and award amounts.
