Buchholz marks 30 years at Ohnstad Twichell
An open house observing Peggy Buchholz’s 30 years with Ohnstad Twichell law firm will be held Aug. 14 from 2 to 5 p.m. at 901 13th Ave. E., West Fargo.
A graduate of Fingal (N.D.) High School, Buchholz attended North Dakota State College of Science and Minnesota State University Moorhead, where she was enrolled in the paralegal program.
Currently the Ohnstad Twichell office manager, Buchholz previously worked for Melroe/Bobcat sales in Gwinner, N.D., and McMerty, Holtgrewe and Nelson certified accounting in Fargo.
At the firm, Buchholz is responsible for many duties, including payroll, human resource issues, budgeting, administration, insurance administration, editing the firm newsletter and compliance reporting.
She has also seen the firm grow substantially since she started working for the firm’s founding partners.
“I do enjoy working at the law firm and like the variety of my job,” Buchholz said. “No two days are exactly the same. Each day brings a new challenge.”
She and her husband, Tim, have lived in West Fargo since 1978, where they raised children Kelly and Jason.
Buchholz served eight years on the West Fargo School Board and as a board member for South Elementary Parent Teacher Association.
She was a 4-H leader, worked with Red Flag Green Flag, McGruff Safe House program, on various high school committees, West Fargo Dollars for Scholars and Chamber Business After Hours.
Buchholz taught Sunday School and participates in quilting and altar guild at Faith Lutheran Church.
She is a member of the Fargo-Moorhead and National Associations of Legal Administrators and recently became certified as a legal manager (CLM).
