Canning class set for Jan. 9 at Faith Lutheran

Faith Lutheran and Journey in Faith will be hosting a class on canning tomatoes and making spaghetti sauce on Saturday, Jan. 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 127 2nd Ave. E., West Fargo. The session will be held to educate individuals on utilizing the excess of garden tomatoes.

Joe and Linda Mayo and Richard and Leslie Witte will be teaching the class. Join in the fun as tomato chopping, spice measuring and processing provide plenty of opportunities for conversation. Each participant will take home one quart of sauce. All supplies will be provided at no cost.
